SMK Thy recognised by Nationalbankens Jubilæumsfond

We are honoured that SMK - Statens Museum for Kunst Thy has been recognised by Danmarks Nationalbanks Jubilæumsfond - a project shaped by the dialogue between architecture, art, history and the distinctive landscape of Doverodde.

Bringing together new freestanding buildings, the transformation of historic structures and Naturlandsbyen, SMK Thy creates a connected architectural ensemble where different materials, functions and layers of time find a shared expression. In its citation, the foundation describes the project as “an inviting landmark” within the Danish and international art and architecture landscape, recognising its ability to bring art, nature and people together.

We are grateful to Nationalbankens Jubilæumsfond for this recognition, which acknowledges the value of thoughtful architecture rooted in place, and the potential of giving existing structures new life and relevance.
